Committee Opportunities:
Board of Directors | Last Thursday, 8:00–9:30 AM
The Chamber’s governing body responsible for setting policy, guiding strategic direction, and providing oversight to ensure the success and sustainability of the organization.
Events & Programs Committee | 2nd Tuesday, 1:30–2:30 PM
Plans and supports Chamber events and programs, including luncheons, mixers, workshops, and signature community gatherings.
Finance Committee | 3rd Wednesday, 3:00–4:00 PM
Oversees the Chamber’s financial health, including budgeting, financial planning, and reviewing financial performance.
Government Affairs & Land-Use Committee | 3rd Tuesday, 7:30–9:00 AM
Monitors local, state, and federal legislation and land-use issues, advocates on behalf of business interests, and promotes civic engagement.
Marketing Committee | 1st Thursday, 12:00–1:00 PM
Develops strategies to increase Chamber visibility and engagement through branding, promotions, digital content, and campaigns.
Membership & Ambassadors Committee | 3rd Wednesday, 12:30–1:30 PM
Focuses on member recruitment, retention, and engagement. Ambassadors serve as welcoming liaisons to new and prospective members.
Refer East County (REC) | Tuesdays, 7:45–9:00 AM
A weekly referral networking group where members share leads, promote their businesses, and build trusted professional relationships.
Veterans of East County Alliance (VECA) | Dates vary—check Events Calendar
Supports veteran-owned businesses and honors veteran contributions through recognition, advocacy, and networking events.
Women in Business East County (WIB) | 1st Monday—location & time vary
Empowers women in business through networking, professional development, and leadership opportunities in a supportive environment.
