Ethics in Business
The Ethics in Business (EIB) Conference is a collaborative educational event designed to inspire ethical leadership and decision-making in the next generation of professionals. Now in its 34th year, this impactful program is a joint venture of the San Diego Regional East County Chamber of Commerce, the Grossmont Union High School District College & Career Readiness Department, and participating local high schools.
Held at annually at participating local high schools, the conference brings together high school juniors and seniors with local professionals, business leaders, and community members for a half-day of thoughtful engagement and meaningful conversation.
The program includes:

Group discussions and interactive breakout sessions

Real-world ethical scenario conversations at each table
Professionals serve as facilitators, guiding students through ethical dilemmas and offering insights based on their own life and business experience. Each facilitator leads a table of seven students and is provided with a structured event and lesson guide.
By participating, facilitators play a key role in helping students explore the meaning and importance of ethics in business and everyday life—shaping thoughtful, responsible future leaders.
